New Creativity Workshop from Acunity

In November of 2006, Acunity announced the development of the first of a new type of workshop, offering performance enhanching solutions to the creative industry.

We are pleased to announce that the first dates for this new workshop, which is to be held at the spectacular Yorkshire Sculpture Park, have been announced. The first workshop will be on the 9th and 10th May 2007.

Managing Director, Simon Atherley said, "Whilst there are a vast number of software, technical and business courses on offer to creative professionals in the media industry, there are very few if any creative performance courses. Those that do exist are aimed at non-creative professionals. This is a bit like providing training only to lower division football players, whilst offering no training whatsoever to premiere league players...

If our creative industry is to remain competitive, both regionally and nationally, then we do need to provide opportunities to creative professionals within the industry to enable them to boost performance. Although offering a workshop on creativity might seem a bit like selling ice to eskimos, we believe all creative professionals will benefit from our unique workshop "
