Adobe After Effects 6.0 Workshop

Duration 3 days
Objectives Adobe After Effects is a powerful software tool for the creation of visual effects, 2D & 3D compositing and motion graphics. This course will help you master the key concepts and features of After Effects that are required for the creation of content for broadcast, web, CD-ROM and film.
The course begins with an overview of the After Effects workspace and explanations and examples geared towards mastering the key functions, including masking, 2D & 3D compositing, motion controls, video and audio effects, handling and importing media and managing the project cycle.
On the final day, the skills learnt will be brought together on a complete project, which can be one of your own choosing or one which we provide for you. Either way, this final section ensures that you are able to put into practice all you have learned along the way and to resolve any aspects of the course that may remain unclear. Requirements Good working knowledge of the current Mac or PC operating system, including file management and awareness of the different types of media such as hard drives, DVDs and magnetic tape. A good knowledge of various media types likely to be used in motion graphics. Expertise with Photoshop, Illustrator or a similar program and a leading 3D design package will be an advantage.
