| Acunity Appoints new Commercial Director 19 May 2005 Janet Ives has been appointed Commercial Director at Acunity following an extensive search. Janet has been appointed to help Acunity develop a new strategy and also to help move the company into new market sectors. Janet Ives said “I am very much looking forward to starting with Acunity. They are a small but dynamic company with a unique and very effective approach to training and this will provide me with the perfect opportunity to help build a highly successful commercial operation from the ground up. One of the very first things I will be doing is devising a range of new courses specifically for the retail sector ” Janet comes to Acunity with over 18 years experience working in dynamic and challenging commercial environments, reaching the role of Commercial Director for a division of a major retailer with responsibility for 13 high street outlets and a combined turnover of £30m, successfully increasing market share and significantly improving profits. Janet also has previous training experience, having devised and implemented a highly successful retail management development programme. Janet has a passion for training and a desire to enable others through shared knowledge, skills and experience.
